Effective therapy for perinatal distress targeting the things that started the distress in the first place.

What: IPT for Perinatal Distress and Depression is a six week group meeting once a week for an hour and a half. IPT focuses on role transitions, role disputes, grief, loss and interpersonal deficits. The goal of the group is to improve distress by building support and focusing on what triggered the distress in the first place. IPT is a structured group with exercises completed during group session.

Week Five: Exploration of Grief and Loss

Who is this for? 

  • Women experiencing perinatal distress or depression(pregnant or postpartum). Distress includes any uncomfortable experience including worry, stress, fatigue, overwhelm, anger, rage, resentment, sadness, grief, guilt and more.
